Samurai 7

An anime that revolves around the journey of 3 peasants in search of 7 samurai to protect their rice village from the bandits. The bandits are machince samurai that converted their bodies during the time of war to become more powerful and such. However the human samurai can still own them so they are the best bet in a war against the bandits. The series is 26 episodes long, and one of my current favorites.
